Here's my wife and I waiting on 12-24-11 in our 2001 Jeep Cherokee for the Basin road to open. We had planned to leave at 6:00 am for Houston, but the road was not opened until about 11:30 am until it was sanded. Main problem was very slippery conditions at Panther Pass due to snow and sleet which came in the previous afternoon and night. Will post report and more photos later.

When this thread started I was a little dissapointed because my vehicle had never been in Big Bend.  Neither had I.  I have been anxiously awaiting the day I could post my own "vehicle in Big Bend" picture.  Well, I'm thrilled to finally be able to join the club.

Here is a picture of my new truck approaching the McKinney ranch site on Old Ore Road.  As you can see, it is already pin striped which happend on one of the 2WD roads in BBRSP before I realized it.  Since the first pin stripes were already out of the way, braving Old Ore in the new truck was an easy decision.

And this is a picture at the end of Indian Head road just outside of the park.  Since you can see the park from the picture, hopefully this counts.

I'm working on a trip report which will hopefully arrive soon.

Love this thread.

Not mine, but my friend Grant's Ranger on the Glenn Springs Road.

My 1998 Nissan Sentra, which made many trips out West.  Only pic I can find of it at Big Bend, here sitting outside one of the Chisos Mining Co. cabins.  I think in 2002.

My 2002 Nissan Frontier sitting at the turn off for the Croton Peak campsite:

'02 Frontier again at the Croton Peak campsite:

2008 Nissan Frontier sitting somewhere on South County Rd last spring:

WATER, It does a body good.

:13: on this thread...  I'm glad to know I'm not the only person that takes pictures of my vehicle while on vacation.  Seems like there's always a handful of those included in every trip! :)

Just need to see more Mopar/Dodge/Jeep pics :)

My "new" 07 RDX on Basin Road (bonus points for having a bear in the same frame :)

And perhaps my all time favorite picture of this car taken by James somewhere on the way back from Mariscal Mine... The Facebook caption I wrote was something along the lines of "I don't know if you can see the picture clearly or not, but if you can, you can CLEARLY see me smiling":
