Barbell weights? Cheap at garage sales.
   Bill

Ah, yes - good idea...  not sure if I could get the feet of mine through the opening of a weight, but definitely worth looking into!

Maybe take off the bottom segment of the leg and put it through the weight, then put it back?

Nice - don't think I've seen that one - I seem to remember Glenn Spring 1, but not 2...

Mine w/ the Jeep is McKinney Springs

Glenn Spring 2 is just south of GS1. It has great 360 degree views. I have stayed there a few times and I really like it.  There is a little rock out crop just across the road thats fun to hang out on.

Roll the top down and hose it out. But the dust keeps people out of my Jeep that don't like Big Bend dust. And if you don't like Big Bend dust, well then...  :icon_lol:

Nice Jeep! Here's your excuse for some cool fender flares. I've got a 3013 Sport. How do you deal with the dust all in the interior?

At Rice Tank - April 16 & 17

Curious about your picture - how do you anchor your canopy?  Looks like something round and heavy, but can't quite figure it out from your picture...

Thanks!

Got these at Academy for about $25.  The plates weigh 5lbs each.

Ah perfect!  Looks like they would hold up pretty well in strong winds.  We had a major wind/dust storm while we were there this past Spring Break, and a canopy like that would have had to be anchored pretty well not to take wings and fly away...

I've never had the canopy up in really strong winds, probably 20-25mph tops.  You can stack some rocks on top of the plates for additional weight if you needed it.

I'm retiring the black truck. I looked at all of the 4WD vehicles that 2014 had to offer for almost two weeks. I was thoroughly disappointed so I started looking at used.  found a 2000 TLC (Land Cruiser) and I'll spend the rest of the year tweaking it for Colorado and Utah. In stock form it's fine for Bibe

This was shot when I was driving in last night. It has a long way to go but when I'm done It'll go anywhere I'm willing to go and then some. My favorite thing about it is that I can load all of my gar in it and still have the entire rear seat for passengers or whatever.

Nice Jeep! Did you air-down for the rocks? Any sidewall issues on the street tires?
