Hmm, we camped at PC4 this past April and PC5 was about a mile from the Pine Canyon trailhead...It seemed a little close to the road compared to PC4.
Ah Big Bend, we will soon return to reacquaint ourselves in our ritual of blood, exhaustion and dehydration. How can we resist the temptation to strip ourselves of the maladies of civilization?

pine canyon 5 is closer to the road than p.c.4, but the view from p.c.5 is so stunning i prefer it.  both candelia and camp de leon can reached in a 2wd vehicle, although the rangers may not issue a camping permit without it. between camp de leon and ernst tinaja there is a rough down hill section that might be tough on your vehicle.
