The access road to Terligua Abajo is located 2.8 miles from the southern end, or 10 miles from the north end. The Ocotillo Grove campsite is located .6 miles down the Terlingua Abajo road.Usual Road ConditionsThe Old Maverick Road conditions vary greatly according to rainfall and use patterns. The road is open to all vehicles most of the year, but tends to be washboard and rough. Ask a Park Ranger for the latest road conditions.Current road conditions...Ground Cover/ShadeNone.
