Great Websites (lots of sites)
« on: January 07, 2006, 10:13:20 AM »
I'm not sure how many of you already know about this website, but lord knows at my ripe old age I STILL get surprised!
http://www.bigbendtexasmountains.com/

There is a booklet of the same and both pretty much cover what you need to know about the region.

I'd also love suggestions for any other links to do with Big Bend or cool things in the area that I may not have known about...
Just call me "Spongechick"   I never tire of learning

I've been going to BBNP for over 30 years.  I enjoy photography, so if you're into BB pictures you can take a look at my website.

Thanks Jim! :)
Exactly what I'm talking about....
Although there are many websites that show similar pics or topics, it's nice to see things through different eyes and perspectives, or perhaps something captured for the first time as it has never been before....

See this is great! And "Papa Locke" worded it perfectly....
Don't worry about the advertising......th is is still your place, although we all visit and hang out here.....the only other thing that would be cooler is us being here at the same time and being able to typity-type instantly....I log on sometimes and say "hey there's (fill in the blank)"
So close, yet so far away!

I recently built this site to clean out and organize my favorites.  I made it for personal use, but I don't care who looks at it.  It has a nifty search tool at the bottom.  There are 125 links so far.

Moderator note:  URL has been updated.  Let's hope Randell doesn't move it again.  If the link doesn't work, PM or email Randell.

I actually got the 3d link from your set of links as I was scouring the web for links to add.  It looks cool.  Now I just need to get me some 3d glasses to enjoy them fully.

Definitely need those glasses before you post some 3d interactive panos!  Sounds sweet!
