Came across this website this morning.  Good article on BIBE.  They reference Big Bend as a great place for sandboarding.  Never thought of BIBE being known for that.  Could they be referring to the sand dunes that over in Boquillas Canyon?

I was checking out the photo gallery they have for Big Bend and got a nice surprise to see a water fall I have never heard of and I also learned that Big Bend has lush green pastures with plenty of Bison.

I'm willing to bet, based on James's observation of Bison and water falls, that they are more referring to Monahans Sandhills State Park

Activities: Activities include camping; hiking; picnicking; equestrian; bird and wildlife watching from the interpretive center windows, as they come to the watering stations; and sand surfing. Texas Camel Treks are held at the park.
