Now, those are handy!  Thanks for doing this.  

I wonder if we can have these set as a sticky so they will always be at the top of the thread?

Anyone know how to stitch the two halves of the maps together?

I used Micro$oft Paint.  There are a few pixels missing, but it'll do.

I was recently organizing bookmarks and found where I had put this one. Great site for downloading electronic versions of the USGS quad maps of Texas (I think the link was after I went to Brewster County). You can download DRG (collared and collarless for stitching together) and DEM. Files are zip files with .tif scans of the paper maps along with the data files needed for GIS software (Globalmapper is a good free trial download that USGS links to). The .tif files are viewable in any standard viewer if all you want is the map.
