Museum of the Big Bend

Anyone who loves the big bend region needs to check out the new museum that just had its grand opening about two weeks ago.

I spent all morning there and was highly impressed.  The old museum in Lawrence Hall left a lot to be desired, but thanks to a generous donation from the McCoy (Building Supplies) Family this new museum has really became fantastic.  There are numerous interactive exhibits and short films that can be watched.

I to enjoyed the museum last weekend.  The short films were excellent and I never knew about the "Tall canyon pictagraphs". That exhibit and film were worth the trip.  Now there is an exhibit of photos of the Chili cookoff.
