New York Magazine - Marathon

How Marathon was selected into this group is a mystery!
I love Marathon, don't get me wrong, but it does seem a bit random to show up in this NY Travel magazine.

"Big city offerings"...  Ok.
I can just see some New Yorkers reading this, booking a flight to Odessa, driving to Marathon and being just a little bit surprised.

Every once in a while I read a magazine or newspaper article written on a topic I know something about and the writer's image as a knowledgeable person goes up in smoke and I see that the writer is just another stringer trying to make a deadline.
