Title: Protecting the Big Bend and Trans-Pecos Regions...
Post by: bdhawk133 on February 16, 2011, 02:55:04 PM
Hello everyone!!!

It has been a while since I've been on this site, and I dearly miss the wonderful stories, discussions, and contacts I've made here over the last few years. I am now working as a conservation biologist for Trans-Pecos Water & Land Trust, headquartered in Fort Davis, Tx. We work hand-in-hand with the national and state parks, along with a multitude of volunteers, on numerous conservation projects around the region. Since this is a site filled with people who share a love and passion for this area, I thought it fitting to promote the Trust here. We are always looking for volunteers, and I hope that you will take the time to check out our site and facebook page to see what we've got going on. Take care, and I hope to see you all on the trail...

The dogs are great! We now have 5 of them... The three big ones and I are regular hiking buddies now, and they pretty much go everywhere I go.  I still remember a thing or two about tires, so feel free to ask anytime. I hope all is well with you!
