I noticed that it was back yesterday or the day before. I wonder if they have a new web master taking care of the web cams and the wildlife reports, now that they (the wildlife reports) are back too. Whatever the reason, I'm glad the window cam is back!  :eusa_clap:

Could you please tell me if this web cam is scheduled to be returned to
service this year? If so
about when that would be?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
...and if I'm not being too pushy...what is the proposed status of this
one?

Thank you for any info you can provide, there are many of us out here
that miss those two cameras daily.

Later....bye....Mar ty

Mr. (fm),
The webcams are experiencing multiple technical glitches at this time.
The server which accepts the images continues to fail, & the cameras
which are over 12 yrs old are starting to fail.  What cameras do work
continue operating & images are archived at the camera site.

The images should come back online as soon as the server problems are
fixed. The GMNP camera needs to be replaced and I am in process of
purchasing a new camera.  However, I cannot provide a specific date for
completion of all repairs.

Please note that the webcam system is ranked #3 in my priority of
activites given I primarily focus on US-Mexico environmental activities.
Also, please note there are about 2 other people around this world that
also like to visit the webcams sites & have expressed similar concerns
regarding the inactive webcams system.  Fortunately this system has not
yet experienced major budget-cuts like many activities our government
offers.

If you have any questions please give me a call or send a note to the
Webmaster.
