The usual reason why not to sign on automatically is if you share a computer and don't want others posting as you.  For example, a while back I was using my Mom's PC and didn't log out of Ebay.  My brother came along and promptly put in a bid on my behalf for a Cheech Marin doll with pink tutu.  Good thing I didn't win it or I'd be short one brother... :)

That's right, you don't want anyone posting as you. They need go out and get their own "Guest" designation!  :D

JOE E. LANDEZ, DEADBEAT DAD
« Reply #24 on: January 28, 2006, 06:33:53 AM »
SNAKERS/HERPERS:  There is a posting under DEADBEAT DAD/JOE E. LANDEZ about a deadbeat father that is also a snake enthusiast in the Big Bend area.  If you have any employment information on this guy please respond to the posting under OTHER TOPICS.   He is Mexican, average height, chubby, nothing special looking, lives in housing at Lajitas Resort.  THANKS!

This is the untold story of what can happen after a rattlesnake bite. Sometimes I find the tongue to be an asset, but all too often it becomes a liability. I'm thinkin about seeing an ear, nose, and tongue specialist to see what can be done.

Thanks Mark. Yesterday, I posted my account on the Kingsnake.com site in the "Coachwhip and Racers" forum.  Got some replies to that post that make my story even more credible. Obviously, the people on those forums are very serious herpers.

I have seen dead ones before in the bend and after reading your account, that is the only kind I want to see within striking distance... which appears to be many yards. Interesting handle by the way over at the other forum.

Give it a rest.  I don't know what you want anyone to do about this.  You know where he is living and by the sounds of it he has no money.  What else do you want to know?   This isn't the time/place for this.  I sympathize with your plight, but really there is nothing any of us can do about it - plus we really don't know, other than your word, that Joe Landez is a deadbeat dad.  Go to the state attny. generals office or the child support/child protection office where ever you live at.  Personally, I'm not getting involved in any of this is it is NOMB.   8)
