Used to be a free publication you could pick up in the West Texas Trans Pecos Big Bend Region, but they couldn't afford the newsprint, gasoline, etc. and converted it to online - unfortunately the free publication has now turned into $12.00 per year.  :(   Published/written by the Warnocks.   Someone else signup for it and see if it's worth the $12 per year or not and let me know.  8)

ps.  I did a searc to see if this url had been posted before and could not find any mention of it.

Thanks, Shanea.  Had not seen this one before.

BTW...love your signature (work sucks...heading out to Big Bend).  We were in San Antonio earlier in the week for Spring Break...saw the exit for Hwy 90W (to Del Rio)...it took all my willpower to keep from taking it and heading west and never comin' back!!

Don't know if it will change as they go to web-only, but at present the bbq website is a close clone of the circa 2000 nps park profile design used for the front pages of each park.

If you go to this site click on "Articles" and read about Barton Warnock and you can also google Barton Warnock and read about the estate fight that came out of it.  Interesting reading kind of like "Entertainment Tonight" for the big bend set... TWWG
