Just happened to peek at the PJ weather station this afternoon....I see that a wind shift this afternoon as dropped the temp from the 90's to 77 at the moment.  Nice!

I am a bit of a weather nut...spend at least a few moments each day on a number of weather sites.

I like to check this extended forecast page every once in a while:

Also, the NEXRAD section of http://www.wunderground.com has be best features of any site...especially if you like to track storms.  Check it out and you'll see what I mean.

That is very cool.  I use weather underground more than others for my local weather predictions.  I really like all the local weather stations they have on the site.  Also very cool.

The PJ weather station thingy said it was in the 90's? No way....musta been a typo. Was maybe mid 70's in the afternoon here.
Last night the wind was incredible. I thought I was going to wake up in OZ!  It died down a bit but now is picking up again.....Unfortunately all we have to block the cold air from Canada is a barbed wire fence! :lol:

WeatherMole uses data from NOAA for a given set of coordinates.  Not sure if it's any more or less accurate than any other method, but I find it more fun.

Not quite BIBE weather info - but I know there are a number of people on the board from central and south Texas, so I thought I would share this information about SA from the www.myweatherpage.com website I visit every now and then.

"Good morning from the soon to be, extension of the Chihuahuan Desert!
 
For a comparison, Phoenix, AZ has an average rainfall total of 7.78 inches. The all time record for least rainfall in a calendar year for San Antonio is 10.11 inches in 1917.
 
As suspected, this has been the driest September-May on record for San Antonio, according to our local NOAA people. I sent them an e-mail the other day and here is the cruel data:
