Back country camping with a off road simple popup
« on: May 24, 2016, 10:07:57 PM »
I cant seem to remember if a pop up is ok at back country sites or not. Runs off 12 on board battery. Very small and no generator needed. Will go 3 days off grid with proper use of resources including solar. IT is a Taxa Cricket camper. Sweet little rig for minimalist comfort camping. "wife has bed, and I can camp off grid. marriage is about compromise right?"

You should be good to go.  I've had my teardrop at several sites around the park.  Even as far out as Fresno.

I'd never heard of a Taxa Cricket.  Googled it.  Interesting design, albeit somewhat quirky.  Definitely a hipster trailer.

Thanks for the info. I thought fresno would be perfect for us. We spent a week back there. It was great!
