Visiting BB since 1966, nothing like being lost and finding heaven.

sorry to bump an old post  :icon_redface:

just thought i'd put my 2 cents in. when they drop him off it looks like he's in the ranch on the Bofecillos plateau, somewhere on the west-central (west of the rancherias area) side of the park. the arroyo doesn't look like madera canyon, fresno canyon, or arroyo primero/segundo, but those are the only ones i've been to, so i don't know much beyond that. the waterfall looks somewhat like madrid falls, but the angle is wrong, as well as the travertine build up, vegetation, and the rest of the wash out into the desert. one place i'm 100% sure where he is is on the Big Hill. I've been to that spot numerous times. he's just to the right of where this rock connects to the rest of the wall.

there aren't any other places along the river outside of the national park with drops like this that i can think of

so who knows what else they've spliced in. he obviously didn't downclimb that cliff, i wonder where he was. and why didn't he just wait at the road he crossed or drove along to get to the big hill?  :eusa_whistle:

but people shouldn't take anything beyond entertainment from the show :o

Viper lives!  - but he doesn't know what he is talking about.

I learned all my desert survival skills from Barbarosa.  You can't tell me that Willie Nelson and Gary Busey don't know their stuff.
