My trip fell apart so we won't be making it down any longer. Best of luck to those are trying to get out during spring break.
So is the best method for getting a camp site to show up very early in the AM and talk to the campground host? I'm sorry to ask sort of a redundant question but I can't find any information on the actual procedure for getting a walk up site. Is it as simple as just driving up to the camp site and sitting in a vacant spot while another member of my party gets us registered?
Thanks a ton for this info Jalco. Definitely helps to have an idea of how the process works before I drive 9 hours to BiBe. This envelope we need to pick up. Is it at Panther Junction or at the campground entrance? Is there a pile of envelopes somewhere and I can just grab one or do I need to speak to a ranger or campground host to get one?
I'm planning on having a zone permit for all the nights we're in BBNP as a back up plan. If we somehow get a campsite I can just call PJVC and tell them I'm leaving the back country, correct?
