Title: Dodson and Juniper Un-maintained 10/12
Post by: JeremyHikes on October 15, 2018, 01:32:18 PM
Definitely use some sort of GPS if unformiliar with the Dodson or Juniper Trails. I got off quite a bit, but this saved my butt. Also, Id recommend wearing paints (not leggings) and/or Gators as the overgrown plants are unforgiving.

It gets like this after summer rains, you are about the first to go through there this fall and it will get beaten back in a few months.  Thanks for all the water reports!

Ditto on the thanks.  Your reports are informing decisions.

I just completed the OML this past weekend. The trails are overgrown, but you can make out a beaten path. Just pay attention to where you are going. I recommend coverings for you legs, or you're legs will come out looking like a cat used your legs like a scratching post.

Good to hear that you finished the OML, hope you will give us some kind of trip report, it will be the first of the season.
