It is also far easier to cache at Blue Creek than at Juniper trailhead.

I am curious on the amount of time it take to cache water at Homer Wilson and then drive to Juniper Canyon should we look at doing the Outer Outer Mountain Loop?

I'd say about 3 hours to drive from Panther Junction (park HQ) to the ranch, find a place to cache your water, then drive back to PJ, down to the Glenn Springs road and up the Juniper Canyon road.

Also any hotels in Marathon?

Here's a helpful link to lodging options in Marathon. If you stay at the Gage, I highly recommend the old hotel and not the newer motel rooms. It's about 1 1/2 hours to PJ from Marathon.
Caching at the Blue Creek Ranch is super-easy, now that there's a bear box just down the trail from the overlook.  Hiding caches in or around the ranch house is verboten (or at least strongly discouraged, if I read between the lines on the NPS page).

I'll second the Gage old section recommendation, just be sure and ask for a room away from the railroad tracks (unless you really like listening to trains...).  You'll hear them either way, but the rooms at the front are a lot louder.

Re:  caching at Blue Creek Ranch vs. caching at Juniper Canyon...if you're going to cache at one and start your loop at the other, you still have to get to both.  It seems to me that it makes a lot of sense to cache at JC, start your hike at Blue Creek Ranch, hike up Blue Creek the first day and get the major climb out of the way.  Am I missing something?  Sweetie wants to do this next February, so I guess I'll be getting in shape.
As a matter of fact, I _do_ have an opinion on that....
