Thanks for the report!
Apologies for taking a few days to get around to a water report from last week.2/20Boot Spring - Got distracted by a horseback crew doing some work on the structures nearby and must have walked past Boot Spring, but I heard later from other hikers that it was dry anyways.Juniper Canyon - Slow but constant trickle, nice pool of clear water a few inches deep. 2/21Dodson Spring - Small pool of standing water, covered in algae. Fresno Creek - Plenty of flowing water. Only need to go 10-20 feet off-trail to find a nice, clear pool to collect from. Several pools up to a foot deep or so. The area is teeming with life - an incredible sight in the middle of the desert. Also - I heard from couple on the Dodson that there were several pools of standing water between the Juniper Canyon trailhead and the NE Rim trail, but I did not go and verify this on my own.I'll have a trip report up soon. Basically ended up just sticking to the NPS itinerary and had a great time!
