   Just had this thought. Since the Bend is so dry why not have Big Bend Chat members dispose of their excess potable water in one location such as mile marker 7 (just an example) between Persimmons Gap and the Panther Junction center.  Whether it be half of a bottled water, left over melted ice in an ice chest, or a gallon or two, if everyone that reads or participates in the chat would deposit any excess in one area, it would probably be one of the greenest areas of the park. I will also recommend that members of the MSN Group Big Bend Photos do the same if the idea is acceptable here, and notice could also go on the old chat page.  Anyways, food for thought......
