The guy that owned the drug store popped off and said he would give the pig an ice cream if I would bring her up sometime.   Well, on the day for the ice cream about 50 people showed up to see the 1200 lb pig go in the drug store.  He pulled out a gun and said he was just kidding about her going in the store.  I negotiated with him and he brought ice cream out for the pig and for all the folks who had come to watch.  He was really tight with the dollar and don't think he ever did get over it.  Nobody got shot though.

What a hoot!  I bet that was a sight.  Wish I could have been there for that!

Crow Town movie set for Streets of Laredo with James Garner, Sonja Braga, Sam Shephard and George Carlin.  It may be in the BBSP now but at the time of the movie it was private property.  There were many more structures but most have reverted to nature.

Crow Town was where the "Killer Pig" scenes were shot.  I ended up with the 1200 lb pig when the movie folks did not have a need for it.  It lived with us and  Clay Henry Jr at the Lajitas Trading Post  for about 5 months and then I donated to the BB High School sr class for the a community  meal after the sr prom.   The pig smelled worse than the 12 goats and was glad for her to go.
