I don't get it. A Sea Otter? Didn't know they were found in the Bend.

Hmmm. Since bears are found in the Chisos, maybe they should use a photo of a polar bear instead. ;)
If you are going to have a Facebook page for Big Bend National Park, at least show a little common sense and use a cover photo that says Big Bend. :banghead:

Apparently all NPS facebook pages use the same banner pic. The page for Yellowstone has the same picture.

The wonder of the NPS Federal bureaucratic mind at work. :icon_lol: Fish and Wildlife doesn't do that. That's probably what had me confused. Each F&W refuge / site actually use photos from their individual locations.
F&W actually use their Facebook pages to educate and inform the public. I'm not sure what the Big Bend page is doing other than looking for recommendations.
Guess you can tell I don't spend time on NPS Facebook pages. It's a biased thing I guess. I'm a F&W volunteer. :icon_wink:

Give them a break. They're the gov't. It's not their fault they're doing FB half-assed. They are required to be that way.

you need to add a "like" button on here someplace as on Facebook, so that I could "like" that last comment... after I stopped laughing.......

Amen, Casa Grande.
Just try working for/with them. <Shudder>
