A few odd shots
« on: March 11, 2008, 04:49:03 PM »
A few shots from my last trip to Bibe.  Thought they may be of some interest.

Beans and Flour!

Singing for his supper.

Some benders are parinoid about protecting the wildlife.  This little guy was growing right in the middle of the Cattail Falls trail.  Someone built a protecting wall around him.

If it doesn't stick you, sting you, or bite you, then it must be a rock.

Here's what I saw at the top of Lost Mine Trail.

Eerily similar to the lizard Randell saw on Marufo Vega:

splendor and the complicated grandeur of Big Bend will still be here. Waiting for us."--Ed Abbey
