Yes, I know about that place in the heart reserved for the BB, as I'm sure many here do. It calls to me almost constantly, as I have to tone it down while going through everyday grind here, paying bills and what have you...and every time I'm there, I just feel HOME.....RIGHT..... .the best I can explain I guess.. :) Yes PLEEZE don't tell the Cali peeps as they will try and take over! LOL.....wait, there's no tanning beds there so I guess we're fine for now??

And by no small coincidence, the mystery guest complaining of this site being "advertised at the expense of the hard work of others" appeared shortly after Shane posted a notice over there about this site with his caps key stuck in the on position...

I've never been to that Loon page....and now I'm even skurred to check it out!
David's caps didn't bother me at all....I just figured he was half asleep or his attention got redirected or somethin while he was typing. :o

Loons
« Reply #20 on: January 04, 2006, 12:59:01 PM »
Most of the Loons are good people.  A few get a little cranky every now and then.  Only one "regular" is somewhat certifiable (not the one who posted here as a guest, btw).  The one thing they have in common is a love for Yellowstone National Park.  There are some outstanding photographers that hang out there as well.  Check out some of their photo contests:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/loonphotos/
and http://loonphotos.blogspot.com/

The Total Yellowstone Loon page:
http://www.yellowstone-natl-park.com/wwwboard/loon.htm

P.S.  They seem to get a bit touchy when discussing football (especially Notre Dame) so beware.  After UT beats USC they'll go back to talking about the usual stuff.

Heck, I guess we are the West Texas Loons - BBNP, BBRSP, BGWMA, EMWMA, etc.  At least we all seem to get along, so far.  I'm being very careful not to introduce off topics, etc.

I haven't even checked the old post page in quite a while, did it ever come back? - not that I'm even remotely interested in going back.   This is home!
