Does anyone recognize this area?

This was taken from Old Maverick Road.  I'm guessing that's Terlingua Creek flowing through there in the foreground.  The sheer vastness of Big Bend boggles my mind.  Does this area, with all it's colors and textures have a name?

Yeah, I believe Txlj is correct, that is the Rio Grande in the picture and it appears it was taken from the east side of the "Big Hill" along Hwy 170 looking east (telephoto).

You guys are right.  I remember now shooting it on my way back from Madera Canyon.  Thanks.

I forgot to answer your question, but I believe it is called Colorado Canyon......I have a lot of my own names for things out there mostly because I'm either too lazy to look them up or I'm out there without a signal or wifi to look them up....my own name for the area in your photo is east Colorado Canyon with the "Big Hill" being the dividing line between east and west Colorado Canyon. Someone will be along to correct me if I have the name wrong.
