Thanks for the comments. We were out there late last September (when this shots were taken), haven't made it back since. CLose several times (Marathon, Marfa, Alpine, etc) but not actually in the park.

Really nice exposures!

Thanks for the comments.

All are 3 shots at different exposures merged into one image ("HDR"). The panorama at the top was done from 5 set of 3 bracketed exposures (15 separate shots).

I do enjoy taking pictures (even outside the parks). If it came down to taking my camera or water, I'd get thirsty but I'd get the shot. (-:}

Yes, I thought so, but wasn't sure as they are very well done.  Making an HDR image to where it looks natural is very difficult.  You seem to be very good at it.  Maybe I'll get lessons from you!

BTW--- I hear ya on the water/ camera.  Every time I pack, as long as I have those two things, I'm golden!

I used to go kind of crazy with the HDR but as time moved on I just decided I liked the more natural looking shots. I guess the perfect HDR for me is one were you have to ask if it is or isn't. Happy to share anything I know about anything I know.. (-:}
