All photos were taken from the roads throughout the park.  Since I didn't plan well, and had only flip flops with me, I didn't do much hiking.  This was more of an exploratory trip for me plus I didn't realize it was the backpacking and hiking mecca that it is.

Rio Grande along 170 (Madera Canyon area)

Chisos Mountains (iPad photo).  I'm really impressed with the images that my new iPad takes.  I find myself leaving my Canon in the bag a lot more.  Not as sharp as my Canon glass but respectable.

They sure did.  One thing that surprised me was the number of people I met from other countries.  I didn't realize that BB was such an international destination.  Germany, Denmark, England, China and Australia were some that I met.

That shot of the Chisos from Indian Head Road is especially nice!
Wake me when it's time to go.
