I'm having a hard time remembering when these were made, I think July 2001:

The old motel:








This was a year or two later just after the spring had been dug out of the mud after a major flood.


...ok, I really need to get some work done today.  :wink:

So, that's what the Hot Spring can look like after a good flood.  Nice series and keep posting pics.  Hopefully, more Benders will start posting pics or post pics more frequently : !

I really like soaking in the water there.  We recently rediscovered the beauty of the hot springs and will make it a frequent stop from now on.  Usually good conversation there too.  Thanks for the pics.

I seem to remember some valient people dug it out after that flood. As the old saying on Hee Haw used to go: SALUTE!

July 2002, that's the one.  My photo above is after those folks dug it out.  A ranger down there told us the river had actually changed course some as a result of that flood.
