In my town, Big Bend is off North Oso Parkway, between Garner and Yosemite.

Significantly shortened my drive!

Send EVERY khaki-wearer there.
Leave "quit" at the car.  Embrace the trail as your friend.  Expect to enjoy yourself, and to be amazed.

Was 'North Oso' intended to mean 'North Bear' or something else?  :eusa_think:

The word "Oso" is used here a lot, we have Oso Creek, Oso Bay, Oso Parkway, etc.  I have always understood it to be the Spanish term, bear.
