The other thread was getting pretty long, so I thought I would start a new one. Where is this one?

Wild guess.   On River Road near the Gravel Pit cutoff?

That is close enough.  The pic was taken from the Rio Grande Village Nature Trail (after you cross the pond).  But, I would think the view is what you would also see from River Road as you said.  Good job.

It was getting long.  Here's one that might be a stumper.  I would be interested in knowing if anyone has been in this cave.

Hmmm.. that is a stumper.  I was going to guess Mesa Anguila but the rock bedding is way too homogeneous.   Give us a hint?  At least a general area as I have no clue... TWWG

No correct guesses yet.  It's not on the river, though.

Al, you are correct.  My recollection is that it is down on the southern end of the road and just off to the west.  I was going to climb up to the cave until a swarm of wasps drove me away.  That was in 1995 and I haven't been that far south on the road since.

OK I'll try, Tornillo Creek near McKinney springs?
temperatures exceed 100 degrees F
minimum 1 gallon water per person/day
no shade, no water

Well, I guess this thread is just about dead, but I'll give it one more try...

The following pics were taken at the same location as the first one (above):
