International Park
« on: August 18, 2009, 11:25:17 AM »
From another thread

What would be the downside of this forum voting on whether or not Big Bend National Park and Boquillas/del Carmens/Maduras in Mexico has been and should continue to be an international park? (Probably could be worded better.)

The only downside would be if our passion for (or against?) the idea gets outa hand. I'm sure it won't
because I've heard that this is one of the the most civilized boards on the internet.

I'm aware that the two areas have been called a joint Bio Reserve or some such, although I don't know exactly
what that means. I do know that, until I can legally access the other side of the river from within
the current BiBe park boundaries and Mexican citizens can do the reverse; I do not consider it to be an international park.

So my vote is that NO it is not yet an international park :icon_sad:, and YES I wish that it was.
