That's 3 pretty awesome pics Mike!

Can you tell me where you shot the Solitario pic from -- which ridge and/or what elevation point on the topo were you nearest to?

Bear with me and I'll get the GPS trace from the trip uploaded and nail it down exactly for you. That's gonna take a few days.

I went into Google Earth, found the spot to within ballpark distance and dropped a pin. It read out the following coords:
 2927'32.99"N
10346'32.60"W

Great spot -- how hard was the bushwhack to the top?

I'd love it if you could post your full GPS tracks -- I'm sure other BBRSP fans would like that as well.

Those are some calendar-contending photos you got there... :eusa_clap:

Thanks for the compliments on the photos!

Nothing about getting there was hard, except for the vertical part of the climb. I mean, relatively good footing, easy to pick a path, etc. The climb... thing is, we'd already scrambled around in two other canyons earlier the same day, with a bit of vertical to them ('specially compared to Houston terrain!). So I started with tired legs and a heavy camera backpack. I took a couple breathers on the way up; that was it for difficulty. The view was worth it, thank goodness!

The tracks will come; I'll post a link in this thread when they do.

Fabulous pics!  :eusa_clap:

I especially liked the Flatirons one.
Wake me when it's time to go.
