Buying Firewood in Presidio

Buying Firewood in Presidio

So, since the last time i camped in BBRSP they've stopped selling firewood at Saucedo. I assume it's an easy buy in Presidio, but assuming out there can lead to long drives to buy stuff. So are there reliable sources for firewood in Presidio? or should i buy earlier (arriving via Alpine probably).

You are always better off bringing wood if you might be depending on it for heat or fuel. There is some at the Cottonwood in Terlingua but I've never heard about it before in Presidio.
