Poor ole Derrick, reckon what's going to happen to him when Homero finds out he's bogartin' pictures and stashing them on his own blog......  :rolling:

I've no idea what you're talking about!?  If you're insinuating that I'm stealing someone else's images and putting them on my blog you're full of crap.  Every one of those images are mine.  If you're just busting my balls and giving me a hard time that's fine - bring it.  But if you're saying I have stolen someone else's work and calling them my own then we have a problem.

Obviously  you don't have any idea. Lighten up and explore before you react.

bogart

(slang verb) To keep something all for oneself, thus depriving anyone else of having any. A slang term derived from the last name of famous actor Humphrey Bogart because he often kept a cigarette in the corner of his mouth, seemingly never actually drawing on it or smoking it. Often used with weed or joints but can be applied to anything.
"Don't bogart that blunt man, pass that over here!"

It's slang from the last century . . . who's dating themselves!

Fair enough - I had always heard that term in reference to stealing something.  No blood, no foul.

Not to continue this off topic branch, but I would have had to look up 'bogarting' myself, and I'm in the +50 years old category.

Never was much of a Bogart fan, probably explains why.

Gee thanks, guys. That's a wonderful tune to have running through my head while I'm supposed to be doing my taxes and finding a job. :icon_rolleyes:

Well, it wasn't so much about being a fan of Bogart...

Growing up in Austin in the late 60's and 70's made the term a little more familiar, even if I wasn't part of the scene.

Absolutely not a problem DerrickB. I'd never accuse you of being a thief.

Not being conversant in the vernacular of this generation I wonder what term would one use "in this century" in lieu of bogart?
