I’d like to know more about this feature, where is it or it even on the Texas side?

Based on Adam's description, this may be Casa Pequeño, in which case, it is in Mexico.

That's it. Only I was just making up the name, because it looked like the Casa Grande only smaller.
Is that really the name?

Well, that ought to be its name, NBFA! According to Louis F. Aulbach, writer of river guides, it is named "El Sombrero" also known as "Castle Butte".

Cool. Not as cool as Nature Boy Fat Adam, but cool none the less. Ha!
Seriously, thanks for that Flash, and you better believe I'll be checking into Aulbach.

I've been dying to take the FJ there and camp.  I've heard nothing but great things about BGWMA for the camping and exploring.
I would have maybe gone on this years trip, but I still have yet to conquer Casa Ramon and the Cienega Mountain Area at BBRSP.
Last trip the weather got a bit ugly.

If you don't have C, D or E rated tires, you definitely need the tire repair kit.
If you DO have those tires, you still should have one just in case.  They aren't expensive. Check out this one or something similar:
