Water Flow!!!

I see that the Rio Grande is all of a sudden showing signs of life.   Though it's only running at 130 CFS at Castolon and over 200 at RGV, that's way up from the near single-digit flows earlier this week.

Anybody know where that water is coming from?  I'm assuming it's a release from the Rio Conchos.

this past Tuesday night there were some thunderstorms to the west and south west of the park (in Mexico??) and north of the park, traveling east. When we left the park Wednesday morning there were signs of rain in Marathon and Sanderson. NONE fell in the park as far as I know. I dont know if that had to do with the river levels/flows or not
