I don't really have a dog in the hunt, but before you complain........... could you imagine paving roads in BiBe June - September?

That still doesn't excuse the short notification, ....... planning doesn't appear to be one of the public sector's greatest strengths.

No worse than Dallas June - September.
They are working on lower elevation roads as we speak and have been for quite some time.  The Basin campground roads are pretty torn up though, I think because of all the heavy equipment traffic down to the sewage treatment plant.  A big rock truck rumbled through the campground at around 8:00am last Friday morning and I passed at least six or seven more on the way out. I am guessing they are trying to get the roads fixed as soon as they can after the work at the treatment plant is done, but before the big rush of campers in November.
WATER, It does a body good.

Well we will be in the park around Oct. 3-5. Doing the Honeymoon trip 10 years later (only in Oct. not July). Plan to drive up one night and will see how things are going. We will be staying in the RV park so shouldn't impact us much thank goodness.

I don't know if the lodge is full for Oct 14-18 but I just canceled 3 rooms a few minutes ago.  If anyone needs them, give them a call.

By the way, have people noticed that now when you make reservations  online, you can see what cottage you'll get?  No more waiting to see if you are lucky enough to get #103!
