These were great pics.  Very difficult voting...What calendar are y'all posting them to?  Any past examples?

Wow!  Got back home just in time to vote.  Maybe we should just make 12 different calendars.  That way we could see 144 pics!

I was in Dallas yesterday and went into the lobby of the Westin Hotel at the Galleria.  Lo and behold were James Evans prints of Big Bend hanging on the walls!  Bet if the interior decorator had seen our photos.... well, Mr. Evans is a celebrity... and a very good photographer.

I think what would be awesome would be to produce a book of photographs from members of the board.  That could be a real money raiser for "Friends of Big Bend."

I did a one-off book on some of my pics but that is too expensive a way to go for a bunch of books.

Richard, I hope after voting closes you're not going to tell us that out of 1443 members that 40 voted....if so, I think that's a real shame.  :eusa_snooty:

Nah, it'll be at least 58. :icon_rolleyes:

Update: final number of voters was 59.

P.S. The full membership roll (which includes non-activated accounts and a couple tagged for deletion) numbers 1498. Of those, 200 have never logged in and another 200 or so haven't been online in two years. In the past 7 days, 204 members have been online, but only 59 voted. :eusa_naughty:

Congrats to all! Those are excellent pictures! :)

on the low turnout, thinking that the voting thing going live sometime around Thanksgiving may have played into it. For some reason I thought we got on this a bit earlier last year?

Can't say that I picked 13 of 13, but I certainly can't argue with any of the selections.  They are all great! :eusa_clap: :eusa_dance:

It is a shame that more people didn't take the time or trouble to vote, but, you know, I have doubts that even if EVERYONE voted that the final results would have been a whole lot different.
