2012 Calendar Voting

Click on any of the thumbnails to view the full-size version. Pick your top 13 (you might want to write them down), then come here and vote. Voting will continue for 11 days and end Monday 11/14. Each member gets to vote once and results will not be shown until after the voting is finished. Once you vote you can't change your vote, so pick carefully. Good luck to all the BBC photographers!

Note: all images have been resized to save file space and reduce download time, so some image degradation may have occurred. Watermarks present on nominated photos will be removed whenever possible before being put in the calendar.

When I clicked on the link I received a phishing site warning  (using firefox) I used the supplied section to report it as not a phishing site and told them to contact if they had questions.

Sorry, the page had a Firefox logo, but indicated that it was sending the info to Google.

It happened to me too. If you click on the button Why was this site blocked? it will take you to this page where the last FAQ is how to request removal from the lists of reported phishing and malware sites. The phishing site list is apparently maintained by Google and the malware site list is apparently maintained by stopbadware.org.

Wow, now it happened to me! Clicking on the "Ignore this warning" worked.

I had originally tried to put in thumbnails and links in the poll itself, but that overloaded the board's software and it wasn't displaying all of the images properly. So, here's an alternate view:

In IE I don't get that warning.  Based on the information I see from FireFox, it appears that the site has made it onto a phishing list.  They provide forms to request being removed from the list(s).

It's been reported at least 3 times that I know of. No telling how long it takes them to remove a site from their list. I'm curious as to why they tagged it as a phishing site in the first place.  I got the same warning using Google Chrome.

I would just be patient at this point.  I have had to deal with situations like this in the past at my present place of employment and found that most removal scripts take 24-48 hours minimum, and some a lot longer.

Hopefully it's off the list. It was still on it last night, but seems to be working today. Either way, there's no excuse for people not to vote, since the pics are viewable in my earlier post!
