Having to log in every time.  Will this be SOP or just temporary?

Everything looks very well.  I assume the conversion went smooth on your end.

1.   Picture upload - is there a method by which one uploads pics to the board.  I think in the test environment it was under additional options.

2.  Posts within 4 hours, 8 hours, 24 hours, etc...

this should not be happening at all unless your browser is erasing your cookies after every session

Browser is set to save cookies;  not having this on other sites.  May need some tinkering, Big Guy.  Am mostly using IE 7;  one machine with IE 6.

1.  There's supposed to be an attachment box when you expand the "Additional Options...", but it doesn't seem to always show up....like right now for instance.  Yet if I try replying to some other posts, it's there.  Hmmmm....

2.  Not quite the same thing, but if you scroll down to the bottom of the index page, there's an Info Center that shows the last 5 posts.  Click on the icon to the left and it'll bring up a list of last 100 posts, sorted by date.

I've been trying to figure out a way to get the Search engine to return all posts within a specified number of days, but it doesn't like wildcards, blanks, or punctuation marks in the "Search for:" field.  I keep getting "Did you forget to put something to search for?"  If anyone figures it out, let me know.  :)

I couldn’t get the search engine to work either. I finally searched for all posts within 1 day that contained the letter a. That seemed to get them all, but then I found the link at the top of the page next to your avatar for “Show unread posts since last visit”

About my login problem:  I have three machines that I use to access the site;  1 runs XP Home and IE 6;  next runs XP Home and IE 7;  last runs XP Pro and IE 7.
All require me to login at each visit.

Firefox works like it should. Stays logged on, avoids the MicroSloth Ineffective Exploder 7 problems and sluggish response. All is well in the alternate universe.

I had tried that option, too.  Kinda messy to look at, but seems to work with the possible exception that the "Date Posted" column has some incorrect times for some of the posts (sometimes lists the original topic date).  A slightly more effective method is to search all vowels (i.e. a e i o u y) with "Match any words" selected.  Or if you're super anal, all letters and numbers.  I was hoping a Unix-style regular expression like "[a-z]" would work, but no joy.  Also, non-integer values for number of days really confuses it, too.

I use the "Show unread posts since last visit" as my primary link to the board.
