It's a known bug.  You'll just have to suffer along with the rest of us until CG gets a bunch of free time to go find a fix.

yes, it is a known bug. I have attempted to fix the problem a few months ago, but it is not an easy fix. Thanks for the quick response Richard and I will attempt it again when I can get a chance(??)

right now my PC is causing me havoc...I'm ready to toss it off the nearest skyscraper!

I'm glad to hear this will eventually be fixed; I really miss this feature.

Having said that, I know CG is kinda  :willynilly: since his newest addition...   :icon_smile:

Here's a kluge workaround for anyone who just can't wait for the fix.  When you hover your cursor over the desired page link, it should look like this:
http://www.bigbendchat.com/portal/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=29;sa=showPosts;start=15

However, when you click on it, it resolves to this:
http://www.bigbendchat.com/portal/forum/profiles/RichardM-u29.html;sa,showPosts

The ";start=15" got lost.  To get it back, add ";start,15" to the above URL like this:
http://www.bigbendchat.com/portal/forum/profiles/RichardM-u29.html;sa,showPosts;start,15

To get to the third page, change the 15 to 30, etc.

If this is too complicated for you, then you'll just have to wait for CG to fix it.  Maybe if someone offers to go babysit Grayson for a while....

Was this it?  Interesting that ";start=15" now seems to be working when it wasn't a while back (not sure when it started working, as I've been using ";start,15" since I first figured it out.  Fun stuff.

  This is what works for me. (I'm going to pick on Fred since he asked.)

    When I first start looking for Fred's posts I get this page: http://www.bigbendchat.com/portal/forum/profiles/Fred-u692.html;sa,showPosts (works fine)

    When I try to get to page [2] I get this : http://www.bigbendchat.com/portal/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=692;sa=showPosts;start=15
    which doesn't work.  Something is obviously wrong with this line but I'm not smart enough to say what.

     When I try this, it does work for page [2]: http://www.bigbendchat.com/portal/forum/profiles/Fred-u692.html;sa,showPosts;start=15
   
     page [3] http://www.bigbendchat.com/portal/forum/profiles/Fred-u692.html;sa,showPosts;start=30

      page [4] http://www.bigbendchat.com/portal/forum/profiles/Fred-u692.html;sa,showPosts;start=45

   etc etc.  This may be what you've already said but it looks different?  So just go to the address line of the first page and add ;start=15
    for page 2 and then increment by 15 as needed. This is what our hard working moderator said but I added the wrong page that it was attempting to get to. (I think?)

    I've reread this several times and I'm not sure if I'm helping or not, but I hate to do all this typing without posting soooo... :eusa_hand:

sorry, I know this is a pain but the thing is, there is no reason for the code not to work...that's the thing...everything should be working fine, but it is not.  Trying to find a work around. :willynilly:
