Missing Message

I received an email notification that someone sent me a message, but when I go to 'My Messages', there isn't anything there.  Can someone help me with this?

Today I was sent a private message, but I am having trouble replying.  I just tried replying again just a couple of minutes ago, and here is the error I am getting:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@bigbendchat.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


Any help will be appreciated!!!

it is possible there could have been a couple of messages lost in the transfer.  try sending a brand new message.  if it doesn't work then. let me know!

I think that my message may have been outside of the size limits, but the error page saying so isn't loading.

I just tried to open a new forum topic and had the same problem as when I sent the message, and the part that is painful is losing all of the text that I just wrote.  Clicking back does not restore the text.

Again, I think that I exceeded my character limit, but previously a page would load saying so, but would retain your original text.

I just tried a brand new message and had the same error.  What is the character limit for messages?

I agree.  I do want to note that yesterday when QS sent me a message, I got an email saying I had a message, but when I logged in I could not find any.

The problem I had to today started before the software upgrade, so I think your last comment on the other page is accurate.

I have been trying to reply to that message from this morning all day, with no success.

The error seems to indicate that it was trying to load an error page but couldn't, which is why I wondered about the character limit.

I just wanted to follow up and let you know that I was able to successfully reply today without any errors.  I sent the very same text that I tried to before, so whatever you did, it worked!

I appreciate very much everything both of you do, and all of the hard work that you put in, to make this forum a very pleasurable experience.  It does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
