Your PMs, messages, etc., SHOULD be transfered to the new system ....and you won't be required to re-register either. You'll just login as usual.

I'm so tired of this system, I'm very anxious to get it going....

yes, it will be php and mysql, just like this board....but so far, the new software is working quite well! In fact, while this board drags along, the new one is lightening fast......although I haven't added the old database yet.

One of the new innovations of the board will be spell check :oops:

Well this dinosaur never had many problems with the current version, so I know not of which you speak. But hey, I appreciate your efforts to maintain and improve the site. I'll trust your judgement.

most of the problems are maintenance problems on the back end due to the boards patch work that is necessary. however, it is obvious there is a problem to most of you on the outside....i know cause I get the emails.

to you computer geeks: phpbb works kind of like Windows, where as SMF works like Linux....make sense?
