New look?
« on: November 19, 2008, 09:06:15 PM »
Is there a new look to the chat board or is it my computer? My bookmark for this chat is now the home page of BB Chat. The chat rooms are all different and hard to read.

Speaking of the new look.  Am I the only one that can just barely see Recent Posts and Forum Stats?  The text font is almost the same color as the background.  It's tough!

No problems here...glad we're wider than we were yesterday...that was a little different.

Not sure yet about the text being centered instead of justifed left...or is that just my PC??

That's interesting.  I have the same problem with IE as with Firefox.  The font is only a slightly darker "grey" that the background.  Almost illegible.

Remember, you can always format your text using the center tag (click the button after previewing your post).

And if that's not right, try the

I prefer for everything to default to left-justifed and otherwise unformatted. If someone wants to get fancy, they can go nuts with the formatting tools.

And is anyone else having problems with the Preview feature? It seems to say "Fetching preview..." for a really long time....sometimes forever.

I haven't had the posting problem . . . until I tried it just now.  Here's a screen shot of the font color problem I'm having.

ay ya-e ya-e.....

Ok, once again, still a work in progress....however, some of you may be having a cache issue.  Your 'puter is using the old stylesheet from your cache....clear your cache, restart your browser and the browser will be forced to use the new stylesheet from the server.

Yes, the "Info Center" at the bottom of the forum page still needs to be changed. I am aware of this.

Give it some time guys....I can see too...I can only do so much at a time. When I am finished I will let you know, only then, we'll deal with whatever issues you may be having.  I'm not finished yet!

Regarding the 'preview' issue, I think I know what is going on.....I'll see if I can fix it today.

In the meantime, let me deviate your ATENTION to some pics from Gilberto Sanchez,on this section. Care to step this way, please?

Keep at it Dave, all is well Bro.

Not to put a pebble in your shoe, but while i was writting this post i tried the "Preview" feature?, it did not load up.I had to save it first then come back to modify some typos..just an observation.

Understood about choosing how my post is seen Richard. My "problem" is that all posts I read are centered. Is there a way to change that?

Not a real problem CG! Don't sweat it!! Just curious.
Thanks!
