..Or , if you want to go with an air pootie resistant tent, you can always go with one   Like this from Cabelas

Looks like my Marmot 6 person tent that I got for the family.  Only mine looks easier to put up.  The poles on mine are pretty large.  Probably 3/4 inch.  It's not light, though.

Careful Boojum.  That quote was almost pithy.  I wouldn't want you to have to change your signature line.

Best if you PM, and will gladly tell you how.

Just out of curiosity, what other kinds "of pooties" are there?

  I didn't invent the term....just the variation

Ahhh, Randell......"air" pooties are just that....they're not "stink" pooties 8)

I remember this from growning up in south Texas - the slang is "petho" (phonetically spelled). In use: "he threw a petho at me" :D Does that sound right?

Hmmm.... I wasn't thinking along those lines. I think any "air pootie" would stink   Or maybe that's just me.

Of course if you want variations, then you'd have something like:
- stink pootie
- wet pootie
- skid-mark pootie (aka: "that's going to require some paperwork" pootie)
- chem/bio-warfare pootie (the kind that can evacuate a room*)
- grandpa pootie (loosey-goosey)

and the ever-famous:
- silent-but-deadly pootie

* or tent, to keep this somewhat on topic

AIR POOTIES? :?:   ...oh really now. :!:  AIR POOTIES??    I thought that this was Big Bend Chat not Romper Room :P  :P  :P  :P

As anyone that has camped with me can tell you, a bigger tent is not the answer. Simple lightweight breathing snorkles (screened to keep out bugs) with one end outside the tent are all that are needed.  :)

Finally a thread where I'm the expert :!:

TJavery...yes, very close: PEDO is the actual word for it.

and nobody but FartyMarty can concur: The Pedo is but a soul of a Frijol, gone to heaven.  BTW, your nick in spanish is: Marty Pedorro

Ah, that's it. Thanks Homero! I was always amused by the fact that a pedo could be thrown or somehow directed as it's owner wished. Of course finding the owner could sometimes be difficult :D

S?, mi amigo it is true, yellow and blue flame most times. It is not true that cell phones can accidently ignite them. The last is just an urban legend.

I do concur, but mine linger a bit like Fantasmas del Pedo before starting their heavenly journey.

Thanks Homerboy :!:  It doesn't rhyme like FartyMarty but when I say "Marty Pedorro" in a low Antonio Banderas voice, it takes on sort of an Aristocratic "Air" :)
