I like the idea.  Anything...ANYTHING to get the weight off my back.  Coarse, it looks good but will have to be tried by folks to see if it really works or not.

The way the carts bounce on that level trail, they must only have a couple of inflated baloons in the pack.  I bet 40-50- pounds pulling back on you while you are trying to go up a hill will be fun.  Even my golf pull cart can be a big pain coming back up to the fairway.  And my bag and clubs only weigh 23 pounds.

The lady has her strap very high on her body it looks to me. And the cart sure bounces high for having a "load" in it.

How can you tell when a sales jerk is lying?  Their lips are moving.

I'm trying to imagine what it would be like walking along a high cliff and this thing bouncing over the side with me trailing behind.  Or, what it might be like to get into a tight situation where I couldn't back out.

To be honest, I've seen this device advertised in the back of Backpacker Magazine and have been intrigued, but came to the conclusion that this device isn't for me.  There are just too many draw-backs I can imagine like the ones mentioned above.  Besides, I end up doing a lot of scrambling while I'm out on the trail and I can't see how this contraption would work in those situations.

I do however enjoy the fine little philly in their addy. :eusa_drool:

Don't think I want one, for serious trails, but a deer cart is around $150, for heavy duty one and will haul considerable weight over some very rough terrain. If I don't feel like backpacking, I can always throw all I need in the F-350 and attach the trailer. :eusa_dance:

I am with you there my friend.  My Back doesn't care too much for Back Packing.  Maybe that is why I found this concept interesting.  If it is workable (time will tell) it might open up back packing to some that otherwise would not be able to do so.
