I'm not THAT anal.  :icon_rolleyes:

Though I do have an application that tracks camping trips (at least for the last 10 years):

Then there is the Event Manager application that helps in event planning and tracking:

This is my most used app.  Keep all information on an upcoming trip in one place.

Ummm.....this sure looks like ?ber-organization.

The following preview is suitable for all audiences.

The 'Curse of the Computer', coming to a spreadsheet/databse near you, soon. Thrill to the rows and columns of data, revel in manipulation of data, cower before linked sheets and relationships, TRIUMPH! with the delete key, scream in agony as the unsaved data evaporates in a power failure, surrender to charts and graphs, drag and drop with impunity.

This presentation has not yet been rated by the 2-MPAA (Too Much Planning And Automation). Coming Memorial Day Weekend. Visit us at www.aarrrgghhhh.com for more details.

I enjoy planning things out.  Call it recon and info gathering before a trip.  I once worked with a guy who took his wife on a weekend getaway.  They didn't plan anything, very spontaneous.  They got to the destination city and every hotel room in town was sold out due to a conference in town.  They didn't really know that to do in the city to begin with because they had not researched.  They knew of one major attraction and that was it.  However, since they couldn't even get a room and it was late in the day, they just turned around and drove home again.  His wife was pretty po'd.

Just poking a little fun. However, two of the best trips I've ever been on, one 8 day and another 14 day, were spur of the moment events with just throwing stuff in the vehicle and leaving less than 12 hours after cooking up the run. I forgot a few things each time but nothing that was critical...after all, camping is camping.

I was going to send a picture of my cabinet but when I saw the software I just now bow down.   :beer_chug:  I have a lot on the computer and paper files but nothing like this.  No wonder you could quote tent nights to Peach!  My wife would really start checking my files if she knew I was tracking tent nights!  :eusa_doh:

Yup, the trick is to have a big enough vehicle!

Let's see it!  Maybe I can get some ideas to tweak my system!

I just recently reorganized my cabinet.  I used to have a few big bins in there with all kinds of stuff mixed together.  I got tired of not shuffling through the mess to find stuff and reorganized.

One of the best trips I every took was 28 day around the world trip. I started out with what I was wearing, my passport, cash and a credit card......

That was the impulsivness of youth..........Now I plan!
