Interesting development in footwear...  I guess as long as you don't have webbed toes, polydactyly, or an aversion to stuff between your toes, it would work...

It looks like a hazmat suit for hiking.  I was looking at that before going to GUMO last year.

Which is why you'll need a few pair of these:

Geez, why not just coat your feet in some Plasti Dip?

Although I imagine it would be fun to fill out the Solo Hiker Form while wearing those "shoes".

Light Trekking, Climbing, Bouldering, Canyoneering, Running, Fitness Training, Martial Arts, Yoga, Pilates, Sailing, Boating, Kayaking, Canoeing, Surfing, Flats Fishing, Travel

I can see these shoe being handy for climbing, bouldering, and kayaking.  But trekking, running, fitness training, martial arts, yoga, pilates seems like a stretch.  I know when I went whitewater kayaking my water shoes were too big and I had to use water socks.  Water socks are not really tough-soled enough for walking on rocks to scout a route.  These look like a viable alternative for that.  I'm not sure they would be all that useful in climbing where you need the more pointed edge of a climbing shoe to wedge the tip of your foot in a crack...
