The small one.  They were lucky.

The smoke alarms in the house did not go off until my neighbor opened the door to the sun room which could be accessed through their master bedroom.  He told me that he wasn't sure what woke him up (it was 3AM) but he woke up and saw light through the french doors to the sun room.  He went to look and when he opened the door the entire back of the house was engulfed.  At that point the smoke alarms went off probably because by opening the door the smoke was then in the main house.  He told me he grabbed his wife and was barely able to make it out the front door.

Now with TWICE the BTU output of the previous model and more propane capacity! And because these are factory reconditioned, they're performance-guaranteed, while you save big!

Wow - twice the explosive power!

If you are going to blow something up or burn something down do it fully, nice ad for Heater Buddy. Saw a group for sale at Academy yesterday.

Just received my replacement Heater Buddy, sans the bulk propane hose.  Have made inquiry into the missing hose as those suckers are about $25.00. I do have to give them kuddos and high marks for customer service on so quickly responding to my inquiry and getting me a new unit.  As to the reason it failed, I imagine that I will never hear those details.  One thing is for sure, oh, I'll use it again, but it will never ever be unattended and will never be used inside R2D2 camper or a tent or anyplace else.  I'll just use it on my front porch with a fire extinguisher close by.   :icon_wink:

That's the key. When I have used one on a small sailboat, I've been right beside it, and turned it off before going to sleep. I was always worried about bedding getting too close, or falling over it.

Also, you have to use them with ventilation. In an enclosed space, there can be a carbon monoxide problem.
